Delahunty Middle School

I would like to welcome you to Delahunty Middle School. The next years will fly by, and you will be amazed at the growth and development of your child(ren) from sixth through seventh grades. The major core academic course offerings at Delahunty Middle School consists of Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics - which are broken into two different levels in both sixth and seventh grade. The sixth grade Math course offerings include: Math 6 and Advanced Math 6 while seventh grade selections include: Math 7 and Advanced Math 7. All students in sixth and seventh grade will receive 9 weeks of Art, Computers, Music and Library. Wellness, which is a combination of physical education and health, is for a full year which is offered every other day to all students in grades six and seven.
 

Along with having a rigorous academic curriculum program, we also recognize the importance of establishing a safe, healthy, orderly, and secure environment in order to protect and safeguard the general welfare of all students. Our teachers and students are proud to work together in establishing a culture of Readiness, Respect and Responsibility.

Communication between school and home will always be a crucial component to the academic success and emotional development of our students. When it comes to our children, there are no issues too minuscule. These are truly exciting times in the lives of your children! We look forward to getting to know you and working with you at Delahunty Middle School!
